Family Matters: More Grace for 2025
As we step into this new year, let’s remember the power of grace in our families and communities. In a time when challenges seem to abound, the promise from 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." As we move forward together, we can embrace each moment with compassion and understanding. Let’s extend grace to one another, recognising that it’s in our vulnerabilities that we find strength as we move towards a year filled with love, support, and the grace that binds us together as family.

This Week's Scripture:
2 Corinthians 12:9:
But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Hebrews 12:1b-3:
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
1 Corinthians 9:24:
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
