For the Sake of the World: Gospel (Part 2)

In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, it's crucial to hold onto the hope that sustains us. Inspired by 1 Peter 3:15, we are reminded to "always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." This hope is not just a fleeting feeling but a profound conviction rooted in faith and the promise of a brighter future; it empowers us to respond with grace and courage, even when faced with adversity. It's a hope that inspires us to perform acts of kindness and compassion, reflecting the love and mercy of God.

This Week's Scripture:
// Key Passages //
Luke 4:18-21:
The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
    and recovery of sight for the blind,to set the oppressed free,
    to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’

Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began by saying to them, ‘Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’

John 6:68-69: Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.’
